    On World Oceans Day Foodstuffs has announced that its supermarkets, which include New World, PAK'nSAVE and  Four Square, will be microbead-free nationwide from 1 July 2017; a full year ahead of the Government's proposed date for banning microbeads from New Zealand  stores.

    Foodstuffs North Island has sold its 4.0369ha site at 57 Kiln Street, Silverstream for an undisclosed sum. The supermarket company put the site on the market in March and tenders closed on April 12.

    New World opens new store at Constellation Drive

    Foodstuffs has opened a fresh New World store on Auckland’s North Shore. 
    Customers of the former Nosh store in Constellation Drive will soon see a New World logo on the building. With this change comes New World’s excellent standard of service, and an expanded range of products at great prices.

    NZ brews win big in New World Beer & Cider Awards

    Kiwi breweries and India Pale Ales (IPA) were the big winners at this year’s New World Beer & Cider Awards. New Zealand breweries won 10 out of the 12 classes while IPA took home nearly 20 per cent of the awards’ Gold medals.
