Kiwi breweries and India Pale Ales (IPA) were the big winners at this year’s New World Beer & Cider Awards. New Zealand breweries won 10 out of the 12 classes while IPA took home nearly 20 per cent of the awards’ Gold medals.

Auckland’s ASB Showgrounds was filled with the glorious aromas and mouth-watering sights of the annual Foodstuffs New Zealand Trade Expo. From Wednesday 6 – Thursday 7 April, ASB Showgrounds was home to hundreds of supermarket suppliers showing everything from the latest supermarket equipment through to delicious deli delicacies.

Foodstuffs North Island has today announced that the replacement New World Milford will open in April 2016. The brand new store is currently under construction on Kitchener Road, Milford, after the old store was demolished in March 2015.
Foodstuffs North Island is following normal recall procedures and is working with the supplier.
