Girls Who Own

Girls Who Own is a 5-day hands-on leadership development programme for young women aged 16-20 who aspire to own their own business or become a retail leader. We recognise that there’s an underrepresentation of women in senior leadership and this is our way supporting a shift so that our leaders authentically reflect the communities we serve.

Over five days in July each year, participants will

  • Be inspired about the endless career opportunities in grocery retail and hear real stories from trailblazing female Owner Operators
  • Be empowered to make more informed career decisions by seeing behind the scenes of how a business runs, gaining practical exposure to retail leadership, and having one-on-one mentoring.
  • Be equipped with entrepreneurial skills for the future, confidence, and new-found friends and professional connections that will last a lifetime.
